The Apple II Plus (stylized apple ][ plus) is the second model of the Apple II series, introduced in June 1979 as a refined follow-up to Wozniak's original 1977 Apple II. It replaced the original's Integer BASIC with Microsoft-authored Applesoft BASIC in ROM, which became the standard BASIC dialect of the whole series.
