The Power Mac G4 Cube packed a 450 MHz G4 into a stunning 8-inch cube of clear polycarbonate, cooled entirely without a fan for near-total silence. Steve Jobs called it 'the most beautiful computer we've ever made', and its compact, quiet design later inspired the Mac mini. Despite critical acclaim, its high price hurt sales and Apple put it on indefinite hold after less than a year.
